Passed away peacefully at GrovesMemorialHospital, Fergus on Sunday, February 28th, 2016 at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy E. (Stiles) McMichan (2016).
Loving father of Jim McMichan (Cheryl) of Guelph, Sandra Moulday (Michael) of Carrying Place and the late Carolynne Kendrick (2/2010).
Proud grandfather of Tynisha, Richard, Dayna, Samantha, Alexandra and Rylee and 11 great grandchildren.
Dear brother of Gwen Austin of McLeese Lake B.C.
George will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and son-in-law Paul Kendrick.
He will be remembered for his passion for the Guelph Holody Platers and Guelph Storm; leading the Christmas Hamper and Toy Drives and for assisting so many during his career with Employment and Immigration.

Funeral Service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1320 Gordon St. Guelph on Thursday, March 3rd at 11 a.m.
