MEREDITH, Donald William

Passed away peacefully, with his son Greg holding his hand, on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the age of 96. Don leaves behind his beloved wife of 73 years, Doris (Tufts) Meredith. He was the loving father of Greg and his wife Hanneke and loving Papa to their daughter Coral. Survived also by his son John and grandchildren Zoe and Rylee, daughter-in-law Natalie and grandchildren Scott, Jessica and Sarah. Don was the dear brother of Lorna Smith and of the late, Wayne, Jim, Joie and Dorothy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Walter J. and Josephine (Carter) Meredith.

Don will always be remembered for his positive, kind demeanour and sense of humour. He is one of the last remaining Lancaster Pilots from WWII and although Don was very humble about his service we were all proud the fact he was a war veteran. 
We are all grateful for the excellent care by the staff of the Guelph General Hospital.
