MOFFITT, Murray Gordon Stewart

Passed away at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Monday, September 9, 2019.
Murray Moffitt, in his 86th year, was the beloved husband of Phyllis (nee
Allen) Moffitt for 60 years. He was the dear father of the late Byron
Moffitt, grandfather of his children Taylor and Landon Moffitt, father of
Brent (Sandra) Moffitt, grandfather of their children Troy and Acacia
“Kate,” father of Craig (Pamela) Moffitt and grandfather of their children
Quinn, Shelby and Wyatt. Murray is survived by his brother Bruce
(Phyllis) Moffitt, his sister Aileen (Lyle) Wilson and their families and
by sisters-in-law Jean (late Murray) Allen, Emily (late Kenneth) Allen,
Carolin (Bill Gowland) and the late infant Gordon and the late Maurice
Allen.

Murray and Phyllis came to Guelph in 1961 and founded Moffitt Print Craft
Limited. He never retired from his business, working until May 3rd, 2019,
when he suddenly took ill. Murray was a faithful Gideon for over fifty
years and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He loved the Lord and he
adored his family.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at Crestwicke Baptist Church,
400 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph, on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Crestwicke Baptist
Church on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. A family interment
will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of
sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or to Gideons International
