Goodbye to a beautiful lady. Born in Warsaw Poland Nov 11 1921. After being discharged from the army she moved to Coventry, England in 1947 where she married Jan Osika (1924-2007). Family moved to Canada in May 1966 with 2 children and settled in May 1973 in Guelph for the next 45 years. She loved her adopted city and new home, living in the same house until her death on Tues Oct 9 2018 -almost 97 years old! Finally reunited "Together Forever" with her dear husband; may they both Rest in Peace.
Mom was a voracious reader with an extensive and treasured book collection. Nana would heat her food in the "video" and, hilariously baffled by computers and cellphones, she floored us when, one day, she calmly confirmed "Oh, you took a selfie." -What?!!
She will be lovingly missed by her children & their spouses, Christine (Oscar) and Andrew (Kim) and grandchildren Alexis, Stephen, Katharine and Aedan. Of 5 siblings, she is survived by 1 loving sister, Lodzia Syrowinska. A private family burial has taken place.
