Born in the Netherlands to Frans and Pieternella Bolier. Elder sister to Nellie Jagt (the late Izaak, 1992) from Guelph, and Hannie and Wim Annemet from Vlissingen, Netherlands. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends in Canada and the Netherlands.

Mom was a long time devoted member of the First Christian Reformed Church on Water Street, Guelph. Mom and Dad arrived in Canada in 1953 with Lanie in tow and Frank on the way. Having moved several times, they purchased a farm, first in RR#2 Rockwood and then in RR#1 Moffat. By then John and Pearl were born and much later, Mark. They were able to make a good living on the farm with a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears.

Thank you to Mom’s physicians, Dr. Rosemary Daniellie, and then Dr. Spadafora for their care and ensuring that she aged with dignity. A special thank you to the superb staff at the Elliott Community for always treating Mom with the utmost care, dignity and respect. The family will be forever thankful for Mom’s good influence, generous nature and loving character.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the First Christian Reformed Church, 287 Water St., Guelph on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.

Memorial contributions to The Elliott Community would be appreciated.
