Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel

Family will receive guests at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and again at the Citadel on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. A service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1320 Gordon St., Guelph on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with a private family burial to follow. 

Passed away peacefully at the Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, ON on August 18, 2016 with family at his side. Clyde was 87 years old. Loving husband to Ruth Paddle for 68 years. Loving father to Ruth (the late John Ritchie), Lynn (Peter Giasson) & Patti (Morris Samson). Greatly missed by all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other close relatives and friends. Clyde was a faithful member of The Salvation Army since 1954, most recently attending the Guelph Citadel Corps. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army Guelph Citadel would be greatly appreciated by the family.
