(October 1936 - December 2016) – Sadly the family announces the passing of Joan in Guelph on Saturday, December 17, 2016. Catharine Joan, married to Bill Parker for 60 years, leaving her daughter Elizabeth Jane Chapman in Ottawa and her son William Richard Parker in Woodstock. Joan leaves three grandchildren, Sarah Meaghan Parker (Deschamp), Jonathon Nicklaus Chapman and William Thomas Chapman, and great granddaughter Paige Chapman. Private funeral with The Ven, Archdeacon Peter B. Moore officiating, and private entombment in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph. Memorial gifts may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation, Hospice Wellington, St. John’s Kilmarnock Wm. Parker Bursary Fund or the charity of your choice. Private reception at a later date.
