PEPPER, Renée

Cara Renée Pepper (Hanlon) passed away suddenly on October 17, 2018 at 49 years of age. Loving wife and best friend of Steve. Dedicated mother of Devon and Mason. Daughter of Anna Hanlon MacLean and daughter-in-law of George Pepper. Sister of Jackie, Bill (Donna) and Michele (Glen). Sister-in-law of Jodie (Kevin). Awesome aunt of Joe, Rick, Ron, Mac, Lauren, David and Dianna. Lovingly remembered by Gloria, Gillian, Sue, Scott and Sadie, Ashley, Nora, Larry and many friends, family and neighbours. Predeceased by father Jack, Joe and mother-in-law Carole.

Renée was a proud hair stylist and worked at the Elliot Community where she added to the residents' beauty. Known as "Rainbow" then "Kaa" when she volunteered with the 29th Guelph Scouts.

As an avid camper, she enjoyed spending time at the Pinery. Her love of cooking, baking and canning brought everyone to the table.

Family and friends will be received at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 11am to 1pm. A Celebration of Renée’s Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1pm. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sick Kids Foundation, McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
