Passed away at home, surrounded by peace and love, on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Steve was the beloved husband of Sandy (nee: Brown) for 40 years. He was the proud father of Theresa (Glen McMillan) and Tegan (Daryl Vermey), and the loving Grandad of Sam, Andrew, Aviana and Jace. Steve was the dear son of Pam and brother of Ron (Julie) and Melody (Mark Sturm). He is predeceased by his father Orval, and sister Pammy. Steve will be fondly remembered by his extended family and by his many cherished friends.
Visitors will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at Harcourt Memorial United Church, 87 Dean Ave., Guelph on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
