Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, May 13, 2017, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Stumpf and the late Kenneth Pharoah. Florence was predeceased by her siblings Jean Meadows, Laura Guthrie, Jessie Hepburn and Edward Thatcher. She was loved and will be fondly remembered by her nieces Nancy (the late Bob) Simpson and Joyce (the late Jack) Sargent, and nephews Ken (Joan) Hepburn, Don (Marg) Hepburn, Gary (Debbie) Hepburn, Larry (Katy) Hepburn, Steven (Carolyn) Hepburn, John (Janet) Thatcher and Gerry (Brenda) Thatcher, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nieces and nephews; Ann Drexler, Wayne Hepburn, Janet Moore and Jim Thatcher.
Funeral service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Rockwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Florence M. Pharoah in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
