It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Luigi Piacampo on July 19, 2022, surrounded by his family at Hospice Wellington.

Loving husband to Maria for 66 years. Proud father of Maurizio (Rosanna), and Rosanna (David). Doting grandfather to Christina (Micheal), Andria, Daniel (Stephanie), Robert (Natasia), Steven (Cloe), Jared (Robyn), and Jessica (Alan). Treasured great grandfather to Alessandra, Anthony, Sophia , Nora, Arthur, Elliot, Kayla, Jacob, Sierra, Matthew and Luke. Pre-deceased by his parents Giuseppe and Carmine, and siblings Nicola and Rosina and survived by Arturo, Ida, Rita and Angelo. Will be missed by all his friends and extended family.

Luigi loved gardening, cooking, and making food for the family. He had a huge amazing heart that was open to all and a soft gentle spirit that made everyone want to be near him. He taught his family how to love and be loved and he will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to have known him. He showed everyone Gods heart and no one can leave a greater legacy.

A special thank you to Hospice Wellington for all the compassionate care he received during his short stay there.
