It is with great sadness to announce on August 10th, 2022 Timothy “Tim” Pierce of Guelph Ontario passed away at the age of 70 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph.
Those who knew Tim would describe him as funny, sincere, optimist and above all, kind and caring. He will be remembered as a great lover of Harley Davidson motorcycles, having owned two in his lifetime, and the Beatles, whose songs “were all excellent”. Tim loved music and the Beatles so much so that you could find him at any music event asking for a Beatles song to be played.
Tim was also an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and would happily discuss the finer details of a game or an upcoming match up with great enthusiasm. Tim was someone who loved to be with people and to connect with others, and he enjoyed chatting about different things from music to food to the weather. He will also be remembered as someone who never forgot your name. Even towards the end of his life he still recalled everyone’s name and would always greet you with a warm welcome.
Tim will also be remembered for his memory of special events, he remembered all the details of when something special was coming up and would joyfully remind those who came to see or passed him. Tim enjoyed the little things in life and never gave up on anything no matter the challenges put in his way. Tim formed many special relationships during his time at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph, where he will be remembered for his contagious laugh and his compassion towards others.

A tree will be planted in memory of Timothy Peirce in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
