Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener on Thursday, September 20, 2018, in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Playle (1994). Loved mother of David (Margaret) Playle and Kathy (Phil) Moddle. Loving grandma of Andrew, Courtney, Peter and Graham Moddle and Sarah Playle. Also survived by half-sister Ann (Alan) Oswald, sister-in-law Kathleen (Kay) Hobbs and sister-in-law Yvonne Playle.
Predeceased by brother Denis Hobbs, brother-in-law Colin Playle and sister-in-law Gwyneth (Peter) Dyson.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 255 Woolwich St., Guelph on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11 am. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
