Polychronopoulos, Maria (Anagnostopoulos)

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 78 years.  Beloved wife of Angelo.  Proud mother of Dimetri and Stella Kelly (Paul).  Cherished Yiaya of Cameron.  Dear sister of Martha Filandros (late Louie); the late Gus Annis; Denis Annis; George Annis (Despina) and Sophia Malatches (late Jim).  Maria will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive visitors at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Monday, May 23, 2016  (from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.) with Trisagion prayers at 8 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 50 Dovercliffe Rd. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions to Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  We invite you to leave your condolences and donations online at www.gilchristchapel.com.
