Raglin Annette DN

It is with great sadness that Annette’s family announces she passed peacefully with her family by her side at Hospice Wellington residence in Guelph on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the age of 76, after an incredibly brave but brief battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Raglin, who passed in July, 2010. Loving mother of Denise Fell of Guelph and Dwayne Raglin of Bracebridge, and mother-in-law of Todd Fell and Debi Taylor. Proud grandmother of Logan, Gavin, Leighton, and Beckett. Cherished youngest sister of the late Thérèse, Anna, Belvina, Marcel, Lorrain, and Donald.

Annette was born on January 15, 1942 in Chapeau, Quebec, to Azarie Gendron and Bella Béchamp. She married her life partner, Alfred Raglin, in Pembroke in 1968. Annette and Alfred moved to Huntsville soon after, where they raised their family. They moved to Guelph in 2005 after the birth of their first grandchild.
Annette was a generous, kind, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, and enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays, travelling, walking, spending time with her friends, and cuddling with her beloved cat, Cedric.

Annette is now with the angels whom she so adored in life. A memorial service will be held in Pembroke in the spring. Memorial donations would be appreciated in lieu of flowers to: Carcinoid-NeuroEndocrine Tumour Society–Canada (CNETS Canada, c/o Vernon Holt, Secretary-Treasurer, 1608 Blakely Drive, Cornwall, Ontario, K6J 5P4), or Hospice Wellington (795 Scottsdale Drive, Guelph, Ontario, N1G 3R8). More information will be posted at http://www.wallcustance.com/notices2.aspx?notice=19640 once available.

A celebration of Annette’s life will be held at The Residences of St. Joseph’s, 401 Edinburgh Road North in Guelph, on Saturday, February 17th, at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome.
