Of Guelph, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in his 57th year. Will be sadly missed by his mother Pat, sister Lesley (Bob), nephew Kristopher (Heather), niece Amber (Les) and nephew Ryan. Predeceased by his father Leslie Richards. He will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends.
Doug was proud of his service on the board of the Mood Disorders Support Group Guelph. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions to the Mood Disorders Support Group Guelph (www.mdsgg.ca) would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Douglas E. Richards in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
