Rogers, Jane Anne (Woods), 77-years-old, journeyed home on Thursday April 21, 2016,at the St Catharines General Hospital – with family by her side. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, and friends, uplifted her as she battled courageously over the past 2 years.
Throughout her life she maintained a gentle loving demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of laughter and joy, will never be forgotten. She was an adored wife, mother, grandmother, sister and most recently, a great-grandmother.
She leaves behind her Husband of 49 years – John, Two Amazing Sons: Jason (Lori) & Vincent (Kimberley), Her BELOVED Grandchildren: Daine (Heather) Wade (Julia) Emilee, Jessica & David; an added Blessing Great Grandson: Carson Henry. And her extraordinary siblings: Gerry, Faith, Jim, George, Alan, Norman, Hugh & Nancy & John. The family is grateful for the outpouring of prayer, love & hope. So appreciative to the staff at St Catharines Hospital –Nephrology unit, and the Niagara CCAC for its superior care.
A memorial service will be held at Lakeside Church 654 Conservation Rd, Guelph on Thursday April 28th at 11:00 am. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions to the Niagara Life Centre, Fort Erie would be appreciated.
