Peacefully in her sleep at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Friday, May 20, 2016 in her 94th year. Born in Sussex England, Joan was beloved wife of the late Eric Jack Rolfe (2014). Dearly loved mother of Jayne (Wayne) Robinson and mother-in-law of Rosanna "Hooty" Rolfe Cherished Bama of Amanda (Terry) May, Katrina (Paul) DaSilva, Jesse (Jill) Rolfe and great grandchildren, Eric, Kate, Lilah, Emilia, Mary and Johnathan. Predeceased by her son John (2011). Joan will be sadly missed by her much loved nieces and nephews in Canada and England and many dear friends all of whom were so important to her.
A special thank you to all the great PSW’s through CCAC who helped make Joan comfortable in the past few months. As per Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering for family and friends will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, and if desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated.
