Passed away, suddenly, at Hamilton General Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. Amy Jane (nee Thomas) Romans, in her 82nd year, was the beloved wife of the late Victor Romans (1985). She was the dear mother of Carol (John) Jones and Dwight (Stacy) Romans. Amy is remembered by her grandchildren Andrew (Alison), Jonathan (Tara), Joshua, Sydney and Taylor, by one great-grandson Cadence, by her niece Janet (Joseph) Mensah, by her great-nieces Nicole and Cassandra and by nieces, nephews and cousins. Amy was the last surviving member of eight siblings.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 12-1 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
