It is with profound sadness that the family of Grace Roszel (nee Halliburton) announce her passing, after a brief illness, on Monday November 13, 2017, at the age of 91 years, surrounded by her family, at Hospice Wellington in Guelph. 

Grace will lovingly be remembered by her daughter Margaret (Donald) Good, son Richard (Beverley) Roszel and son Paul (Susan) Roszel all of Guelph. She will also be fondly remembered by her 5 grandchildren, Wayne Good, Kimberly (Robert) Markie, David (Kari) Good, James Roszel, Lisa Roszel (Li-Hsin Chang) and by 7 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Cassandra, Sophie, Colton, Archer, Imogen and Cohen. Grace is survived by her sister Mary Ellen Shea and several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by many great friends. Grace was pre-deceased by her husband David Roszel (Feb. 2006), her parents Jack and Grace Halliburton, her brother Jackie and her sisters Dorothy, Barbara and Nancy. 

Our family wishes to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff at the Elliott Community (Nottingham Retirement) for welcoming Grace over 8 years ago as part of their family, and for the wonderful support and care she received. Dr. Nicholas Ruddock and Dr. William Ruddock...thank you for many combined years looking after Grace. We would also like to express our heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Guelph General Hospital and also to Hospice Wellington for their exceptional care. 

The family will welcome visitors at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Wilma Welsh officiating. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Lounge and then, interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Guelph. 

In lieu of flowers those who desire may make memorial donations in memory of Grace to Hospice Wellington, to the Elliott Community or to a preferred charity of one’s choice. Cards are available at the funeral home (519-822-4731)
