Peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of January 2, 2017 Rosa slipped out of this life and into the next.
She will be sorely missed by her beloved family. She leaves behind her children: Sylvia (Denis), Robert (Linda), Michael (Katherine) of London, UK, her cherished grandchildren: Jesse (Danielle) and Eric Guité, Christopher and Terri Scheibli, William, Henry and Katie Scheibli, and great grandchildren Wesley, Isaac and new baby Emma. She will also be missed by her dear siblings both in Canada - Fritz (Juliette) and in Austria - Siegmar (Claudia), Lotte (Erich) and Erich (Annemarie). She will be fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends. Sincere thanks to the Dr.'s and everyone who cared for her and were so kind to us at all visits to Guelph General Hospital and especially at the Ellington Retirement Residence. Every person in the Elliott Community has been kind, caring and a true blessing to us in the 6 months in which she lived there.
A service to commemorate Rosa's life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with family receiving friends for visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, donations to The Elliott Community, MS Society, Kidney Foundation or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
