Schuurman Jennifer MM

August 11, 1981 ~ February 7, 2019

The Lord has taken Jenn home and left many of us with heavy hearts.  Jenn’s struggle with depression, over the last few years, was too much for her and she is now at peace.

She is Mum to her son’s Jackson and Brayden, daughter to Charles and Susan, sister to Katie Pope (Ryan), aunt to Caraleena and Marcus, partner to Christine, granddaughter to Bert and Margaret Custance, niece to Brian/Lili, James, John, and is a cousin to many.  She is predeceased by her Opa and Oma Dirk and Aaltje Schuurman.  She is also “niece” to several honorary family members and “Auntie” Jenn to many children.

She is a wonderful Mum and treasures her time with the boys.  She has a great sense of humour, is spontaneous and adventurous, enjoys razzing her sister, pulling a prank, helping others and treasures Family + Feil time at the cottage and around a campfire.

Jenn has worked at Guelph General Hospital for many years, where she is respected and loved by many friends and colleagues.  During her youth, she enjoyed playing sports, was involved in rural baseball at Ponsonby, played school soccer and cheered regularly for ManU and the Habs.  Since Jenn was a little girl she’s had a love of music, singing and playing the guitar.

Jenn, you are loved, will be greatly missed and never forgotten.  We’ll savor your memories sharing stories of your mischievousness and you will be forever in our hearts.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, 400 Stevenson St N, Guelph, on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11 am. Reception to follow.
