SCHWANTZ, Myrna Rose

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Myrna Rose (Kelly) Schwantz in her 83rd year, was the beloved wife of the late William Schwantz (1999). She was the loving mother of Gary and his wife Linda, Paul and his wife Dianne and Shelley and her husband Gino Conte. Myrna was the proud grandmother of Malorie (Roy), Michelle, Nicholas (Jessie), Christopher (Ashley), Jeffery (Taylor) and great-grandmother of Mckenna, Brooke, Denver, Wyatt, Koa and Indie Rae.

Myrna worked as a custodian at Central Public School for 30 years. She received the Chairman’s Quality Plus Award from the Wellington County Board of Education on May 30, 1995.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone on Linden Court at St. Joseph’s Health Centre for all of their wonderful care.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N, Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Guests are asked to wear masks for the visitation and the Funeral Mass. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
