January 4, 1943- August 15, 2018, passed away at Hospice Wellington at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a gentle, soft-spoken, kind man.

Loving dad of James, the late Greg (1994), Bryan, and families.
Dear grandpa of Mackenzie and Jayden who he adored.
Predeceased by his parents David and Frances, and his sister Marion.
Dear brother-in-law of Ken Bortwick, Al, Jim, Art McIntosh, and families.
Will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Rodney worked at W.C Wood Co. for over 45 years. He was known as Scotty and had many dear friends and coworkers there. He was an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoyed snowmobiling, gardening, camping, cooking, dancing, and took extreme pride in his homestead built on his family farm where he was born and raised. He was a founding member of the Speed River Snowmobile Club.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm, and Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 12-1 pm. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 1 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
