Passed away unexpectedly of Covid-19 on Monday, January 3, 2022, in her 52nd year.
Predeceased by her parents Robert Scott (2019), Gail Scott (1985) and her sister Deborah Scott (2020). Jen will be missed by her step-mother Karen Scott (Maltby Klein). Fondly remembered by aunt Barb Hillier of Cobourg, uncle John and aunt Barb Scott of Cobourg, cousins Susan and Joe Klawitter, and Laura Burns and their children Cody, Wesley, Matthew and Alexandria; step-sister Michele Kleinschuck and Ed Schuck, niece Julia, nephews, Jonah and Alexandre and step-brother Kevin Klein; and family, caregivers and friends.
Jen was a resident at Golden Years Long Term Care Centre in Cambridge for the past 18 years. She enjoyed bingo, movies, poetry, music and other activities at the nursing home. She was also a die-hard Habs fan to rival her sister's love for the Leafs. Before Golden Years, Jen also resided at Freeport Long Term Care and Bloorview Children's Hospital.
A private family service will be at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, January 7, 2020 at 11 am. Guests may attend service remotely via Zoom by using the link on the funeral home website.
Memorial contributions to Sick Kids, Juvenile Sandhoffs, Ontario Art Education Association or charity of choice would be appreciated.
Interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens will be scheduled at a later date. Jen will be laid to rest with her mother, father and sister. No reception will follow. Location is at: 2700 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, ON M1M 1M5.
