Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, April 20th, 2018. Dorothy Mae (Lapp) Setter, in her 96th year, was the beloved wife of 75 years to Earl Setter of Guelph. She was the loving mother of Sandra Curtin and her husband Paul of Victoria, B.C. and Colin Setter of Guelph. Dorothy was the proud grandmother of Rodney van Spengen and great-grandmother of Zachery, Rowan, Aiden and Skylar. Survived by her sister-in-law Marie Setter and by her nieces and nephews.
Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at Knox Presbyterian Church, 20 Quebec St., Guelph, on Friday, April 27th, 2018 from 11:30 am 12:30 pm. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm. Reception to be held in the Metcalfe Hall. Interment of cremated remains in White Chapel Cemetery, Hamilton, at a later date.
