SIMKINS, Grant

Our family sadly announces the passing of Grant on Friday, April 24th at his home.
  
Beloved husband to Sylvia for 56 years, loving father to Dave (Tracy), Pennie, Scott (Danielle) and Sean (Gail and the boys, Jamie, Jack and Michael). Proud grandfather of Tara, Blair and Cole. Dear brother of Bill (Joyce). Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Gary (predeceased), Jamie (Maureen), Tana (Justin) and Troy (Nancy).
 
Grant enjoyed playing cards and cooking. He had a love for animals, fishing, gardening, tinkering in the garage and Friday nights with the boys. He loved spending time at the cottage in Wiarton and expressed that he would like to be remembered on the water at Colpoy Bay.
 
Grant wished to be cremated, which has taken place. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date. He will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.
