Passed away suddenly at his home in Guelph on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
David Patrick Smith in his 68th year was the beloved son of Norman and
Joan Smith and he was the loving father of Cathy Serediuk and her
husband Sean, Todd Smith and Trevor Smith. He was the proud grandfather
of Lucas, Zoe, Ava, Chloe, Ruby and Everly. David was the dear brother
of Randy Smith and his wife Marta, Mary-Jo Case and her husband Paul,
Brian Smith and his wife Meilani and the late Barry Smith (2021). He is
survived also by many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends
at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin
St. N., Guelph on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 12 -1:30 p.m. A
private family service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Due to
Covid-19 restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance on the funeral
home website. The funeral service will be live streamed and can be
viewed by clicking on the Zoom link on the funeral home website. In lieu
of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated
