Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at The Village of Riverside Glen on Thursday, April 28, 2016, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Smith (2005). Loved mother of Gail (David) Granger of Ottawa and Thomas (Cathie) Smith of Vancouver. Loving grandmother of Kirsten (Mike) Stefanini, Andrea Phipps and Kelly (Will) Smith. Great grandmother of Kara and Meghan Phipps, Nicholas, Dylan and Julia Stefanini, and Rylan Smith. Dear sister of Shirley Monkhouse. Predeceased by sister Violet (Kenneth) Hesch and brother-in-law Ivan Monkhouse. Special thanks to nephew Terry Monkhouse and his wife Cindy for their years of love and support, and to Dr. Jason Bailey and the nurses and staff of Riverside Glen for the exceptional care they gave Edna.
