STEVENS, Albert Earl

Passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. Albert Earl Stevens in his 79th year, was the beloved husband of the late Betty (Lawrence) Stevens (2009). He was the loving father of Robin and his wife Ann Marie, Jackie Stevens, Penny Freeman and her husband Rory, Rodger Stevens and his partner Kareena, and Patti Stevens. Albert was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters, and by many nieces and nephews. Albert had a fruit and vegetable stand at the corner of Grange and Victoria Road for many years. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 9 - 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
