Passed away peacefully at St Joseph's Health Care Centre in Guelph, Ontario on Thursday, January 6, 2022, in his 83rd year. Jim was a true eccentric who lived life on his own terms.
From his early years in Toronto and Muskoka, his travels around North America, and through his final decades in Guelph, he maintained his independence, sense of humour, and unique point of view. He will be remembered by the antiquing community in southwestern Ontario; Jim's enthusiasm for antique bottles, jugs, crocks, and other Canadiana is legendary.
Jim will be missed by his niece, Susan Stratford of Bobcaygeon, and his two nephews, Paul (Joe) Stratford of Gravenhurst and Michael Stratford of Edmonton. He will also be remembered by his good friends Peter Cameron of Guelph and John Knight of Brantford. Jim is predeceased by his parents Isobel and Fred Stratford, his sister Elsie, and his brother George.
