Passed away peacefully at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home, on April 21, 2016, at the age of 89. She was a loving wife to the late Milan, with whom she shared love and life until his passing on December 12, 1985. Loving mother of Aleksandar and Milorad Svenda, and dear mother in-law of Vesna Svenda. Beloved grandmother of Sandra and Diana Svenda. Radmila will be dearly missed by many other family members and close friends.
She was a big part of many lives and we were all lucky to have had such a special lady grace us. She embodied love of family, and a passion for cooking, gardening and life.
A special thanks to all of the nurses and PSW’s at Lapointe Fisher Nursing Home who took great care of Radmila for the last three years.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. A private family service will take place at a later time.
