It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Daisie Rennie Swackhammer announce her passing on January 29, 2018 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of 69 years to the late Lloyd (2014). Evelyn will be lovingly missed by her children Frank (Marg), Jim and Holly (Rob), her brother-in-law Allan Swackhammer, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents George and Effie Rennie, her brother Allan Rennie, and her beloved son Bill Swackhammer.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m, officiated by John Rowe. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Evelyn D. Swackhammer in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
