Passed away peacefully at Norfolk Manor, Guelph on October 17, 2016. John Richard Synnott, in his 97th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years Kathleen Mary Ann Synnott (2015). Dear father of Albert and his wife Cindy of Guelph, and John and his wife Donna of Norland, Ontario. Loving Grandfather to Scott, Sean, and Rob. He will be missed by many other family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph for visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service in the Dublin Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of our Lady Building Fund or to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo-Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
