Mr. Bill Synnott passed away peacefully at the village of Riverside
Glenn on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Beloved
husband of Margaret (Valiquette) Synnott for 67 years. Loving father of
Gail (Claudio), Wendy, Karen (Fred), Lynn (Ron), Paul and Derek
(Leanne). Cherished grandfather of Danielle (Jack), Andrea (Mike), Bryan
(Melody), Brieann, Blake, Brock, Brooklyn, Breanna. Cherished
great-grandfather of Mia, Lily, Jake, Joelle, Kaiden, Max and Emily.
Survived by brothers, Tom, Fred (Helen) and by sisters, Denise (late
Henry), and Sheila (Charlie) and by brother-in-law Bob Mandzen.

Bill was an avid tinker. Anything broken he would fix. He always said,
“I can fix that. Old’s better than new.” Marg and Bill were avid
travelers, starting with their tent trailer to their 18 foot Rambler.
They camped across Canada and the U.S. with family in tow for 14 years.
They settled in a 39 foot trailer and parked at Sauble Beach Resort Camp
for 35 years. What memories this place holds for the whole family. Bill
also spent winter months for 27 years in sunny Barbados, his home away
from home. They then transferred for 4 years to North Fort Meyers,
Florida. Bill was the official greeter at all places and was always
bringing new guests back for drinks and campfires. Bill was an avid card
player, euchre, cribbage, chase the ace were some of his favourites. As
soon as he arrived at his destination, a card game was in play. Bill
taught his children and grandchildren many games and loved including
them.

Many thanks to the staff at Riverside Glen – Arthur Neighbourhood for
the excellent care they gave Bill during his time there, especially
during his palliative care.

We’re sure a card game is in play right now. Sending our love your way.
