SZMIDT, Wanda

Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 26, 2018. Wanda (nee Chamiolo) Szmidt, was the loving wife of the late Jozef Adam Szmidt (2014) for 68 years. She was the beloved mother of Danuta (Larry), Barbara (Omero) and the late Richard. Wanda was the cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Ryan), Catherine (Rob), Carly and Olivia and great-grandmother of Emma, Brayden, Addyson and Jack. Special thanks to Jemalyn Quinto who was her loving caregiver and to the
PSWs at Paramed.

Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Wanda will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10 a.m.  Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
