TAYLOR, George W

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Monday, December 31, 2018. George Taylor, age 76 years, was the beloved husband of Irene (nee Curtis) Taylor for 55 years. He was the dear father of Greg and his wife Joanne Steven, Andrea and her husband Mark Hardy, and Shawn and his wife Tara Price. George was an amazing grandpa to his five grandchildren Aysha, Kinsey, Liam, Meredith and Maxwell. George is remembered by his siblings Gerald and his wife Rose Taylor, Linda Schillemore, and David and his wife Diane Taylor, and by two sisters-in-law Flora Taylor and Vicki Taylor. George was predeceased by his brothers Ben Taylor and Earl Taylor, and by his parents Joseph and Doris Taylor.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for George will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 
8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m.

George's cremated remains will be entombed at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph, at a later date.
