Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Christmas Day - Sunday, December 25, 2016 – sadly only in his 69th year, following a battle with cancer as well as heart failure. Predeceased by his precious loving mother Leona (Sperry) Teeter (August 17, 2016) and father John (J.D.) Teeter (August 23, 1983). Allan was a caring brother to Gail (Dave) Heffernan, Martin Teeter and Mary Anne Sperry (Ron Campaigne) as well as a cherished and loving father to Ryan Lee Myers. He will be missed by his Aunt Evelyn (Sperry) Brown, Uncle Doug Leadlay, many cousins in Ontario and Nova Scotia plus numerous friends. Allan will always be remembered for his extraordinary mechanical skills, his love for cars, motorcycles, playing his guitar and having a witty keen sense of humour. He lived his life surrounded by the people who meant the most to him. Arrangement entrusted to at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph. Allan requested cremation and a private family farewell both of which we have honoured. Thank you for remembering Allan as a very special person who will be dearly missed. As expressions of sympathy memorial contributions to Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Allan L. Teeter in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
