THOMASSIN, Linda Louise

(March 20,1943) Peacefully passed away at Guelph General Hospital on June 27th, 2018 at the age of 75yrs. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 54 yrs Hugh Thomassin. Predeceased by son Vaughn, (Johnny Daou) sister Brenda Johnson, (Reg) and brother Gary Hicks (Dawn). Loving Mother of Heidi, (Mark de Jonge) and cherished Grandmother of Tyler, Jaime-Lynn and Mackenzie. Also leaves behind sister Gail Hicks, brothers Dereck Hicks (Joan), Peter Hicks (Alison) and Brother-in-law Ron Thomassin (Diane Thivierge.) Survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends of both the Hicks and Thomassin families.

Linda was a kind, loving and giving person who will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she has touched.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10 - 11 a.m. A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Hart Fellowship Lounge.
