A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 3, 2016. Federico Turchet, in his 96th year, beloved husband of the late Ofelia (Paier) Turchet (2003). Loving father of Tom and his wife Sue of Oakville. Beloved Nonno of Andrew and Alyssa. He was very proud of his grandchildren who gave him great joy. The entire family will remember the wonderful times they had together with him, the stories he told and his great generosity to them. His love was always present. Dear brother of Luigia; Noemi and Lidia all of Italy and the late Maria Raffin (2014) and Gentile Perin (2015). Survived also by many nieces and nephews and their families in Ontario; U.S.A and Italy. The family would like to thank all the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, especially his doctors and the nursing team on the 4th Floor, North Tower Rehab Wing for their extraordinary care and support. They worked tirelessly on his behalf. As well, the family would like to thank the team at Del Manor Retirement Home, for making his brief stay there so welcoming. Resting at the GILBERT MacINTYRE AND SON FUNERAL HOME, DUBLIN CHAPEL, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph (Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm). Funeral on Monday morning, February 8th, to Holy Rosary Church,175 Emma, Street, Guelph, for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery.
