VADORI, Marcello (Mike)

Passed away with his family by his side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2017. Marcello Vadori, age 89 years, was the beloved husband of 62 years to Enrica Vadori of Guelph. He was the loving father of Rick and his wife Sandy, Mike, and Lily and her partner John Gatt all of Guelph. Marcello was the proud Nonno of Amy, Steve, Ryan and his wife Alex, and Jordan. He was the dear brother of Iole Innocente of Italy, and Nella Fantin of Guelph, and of the late Bruna Nadalin, and the late Eliza Vadori, and was the dear brother-in-law of Frank Vadori and his wife Paula of Guelph, and Luciana and her husband Sergio Biason of Italy. Survived also by many nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Marcello will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at the Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
