van Goozen, John Dirk

Passed away peacefully, at the Fairview Mennonite Home in Cambridge, on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the age of 71.  Beloved husband of the late Wendy (nee Holliday). Proud father of Jody Markovic and Krista Wayne (Rob).  Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Kaitlin, Ruby, Grant and Violet.  John is fondly remembered by his sisters Mary Pope and Dale van Goozen as well as his mother in law Jean Holliday.  John is predeceased by his parents Dirk and Isabel van Goozen.  Friends may call at theGILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph, (from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday April 9, 2016).Memorial service at the chapel at 12:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Cremation has taken place.  We invite you to leave your memories and donations online at: www.gilchristchapel.com
