Of Guelph, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 16, 2016, in her 72rd year. Beloved wife of 50 years to Gerry. Loved mother of Amy Van Holst, Marcia (Zane) Grant and Tim Van Holst. Nana will be sadly missed by Victoria, Joshua & Ethan Grant and Brianna & Jocelyn Van Holst and their mother Meagan. Sweet daughter of the late Harm and Henderika Pyper. Dear sister of Helena (the late Henk) Oosterveld, Albert (Linda) Pyper and Ed (Jane) Pyper and the late Johanna (Jake) Klimstra. Friends will be received at Crestwicke Baptist Church,400 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph, Wednesday (2-4 & 7-9 p.m.). Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11a.m.. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the Resurrection Christian Academy, Guelph or London Christian Academy would be appreciated. Jean's passions were to serve her Lord and church faithfully, to welcome friends and family into her home without hesitation and to celebrate with her children and grandchildren at every opportunity.
