Mrs. Kathy Webster passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday,
April 17, 2019 at the age of 69, after a courageous two year fight against cancer. Kathy was born in Prescott, Ontario on April 21, 1949 and is predeceased by her parents Alec and Rosemary Prophet. Kathy was the devoted wife to Fred for 50 years. Loving mother of Sherri Munro (Scott), Paul (Kim) and Jeff (Sarah). Doting grandma to Alyssa, Megan, Sarah, Sydney, Brennen and Mekena. Wonderful "maw" to Michelle Oliver (Jamie). Kathy will be greatly missed by her mother-in-law Barbara Webster, her brothers, her in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Kathy had a love of life, family and a fondness of Sunday dinners, babies and Florida (The Peeps). We are grateful for the support of extended family and friends, the Cancer Centre at Credit Valley Hospital and the staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital during Kathy's illness.
Friends are invited at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A vigil for Kathy will be held on Wednesday at 2p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:30a.m. Private interment at Marymount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
