Peacefully at Riverside Glen Long Term Care, on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in his 93rd year. Alex Wensley was the beloved husband of Marta Wensley. He was the loving father of Shelley (Bob Lindsay), Arleen (Bob Bull) and Estella (Diego Hadarits). Alex is fondly remembered by grandchildren Mike, Trevor, Kim, Terry, Cory, Monica, Jeremy and Pablo and great-grandchildren Travis, Emma, Robbie, Ariela and Oliver. He was predeceased by his son Jack Wensley (1996).
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
