Passed away peacefully at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, ON on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis West (2017). George will be lovingly remembered by Phyllis’s family: Joanne Suffern (late Barry)(2018), of Guelph, the late Tom Kostal (2013) (Joanne), the late John Kostal (1988), (Francis Cox), Brian Kostal (Kim) of Palmerston, Bruce Kostal (Suzan) of Guelph, Maryella Ferguson (Roy) of London, Bill Kostal (Bev) of Guelph and Michael Schieck (Shana) of Ohio. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
