Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13th, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born April 30, 1940 to Adelaide C. Wiley (nee George) and Russell T. Wiley in Waynesboro Pennsylvania.
Brian will be much missed by his wife of 38 years, Rita Cupitt.
He will also be missed by his children Leila and Brendan (Nadia), along with his children from a previous marriage to Helen Noseworthy (Carroll): Christine (Murray), Pamela (Kevin), and Brian (Lori).
Brian will be remembered fondly by his grandchildren Lance and Shael Murray, and Haydn and Rowan Wiley.
He will also be missed by his great grandson Charlie Murray, son of Lance and Shannon.
Brian lived in Pennsylvania and Delaware before moving to Canada (Quebec) in 1966. Brian and Rita lived in several cities in Ontario before moving their family to Guelph in 1986.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to our relatives, friends, and neighbours for their support and comfort during the last year of his illness. Our gratitude goes out to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who helped support his wish of being home with his family, along with the staff from Hospice Wellington. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 from 2-3pm at the All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church, 210 Silvercreek Parkway North, Guelph.
