Passed away after a brief battle with severe, finally diagnosed, COPD, at the Guelph General Hospital with his loving wife, and greatly loved granddaughter Taylor by his side, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Bob, age 84 years, was the beloved husband for 17 years to Myra (Carr) Williams, and previously for 27 years to Dorothy (Seberras) Williams. He was the loving father of Daniel Williams, James (Jim) Williams, and Kevin Williams and his wife Jaime. Bob was the proud and most loving and loved grandfather of Cody, Lindsay, Taylor, Jamie, and Kimberley. He was the dear brother of Shirley Weir, Paul Williams (Val), and Cam Williams (Pam). Bob will be missed by nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. 

Bob was active right to the end of his life. He was a member of the condo board at 24 Marilyn Dr. Bob was a member and employee of the Victoria Park East Golf course for 20 years, and came to be known as Ranger Bob. He was an outstanding hockey coach. He coached and nurtured a future Hockey Hall of famer. Bob was well loved by everyone he met. 

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1 p.m. A reception will follow after the service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Assoc. would be appreciated by the family.
