WILSON, Evelyn Irene

(1928-2018) - Passed away peacefully at The Groves Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 20th with her loving family by her side in her 91st year. Evelyn leaves behind her devoted husband Archie of over 68 years of marriage as well as her sister Jean Campbell, son David Wilson(Deborah), daughter Susan Lauzon (Richard), grandchildren Heather Vanek(Kevin) and Andrew Deakin, great grandchildren Holden, Conner and Jacob, nieces and nephews Bruce(Ingrid), Patricia and Cathy(Chris). Evelyn’s family welcome friends to join them for a time of visitation being held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street East, Elora on Sunday June 24th from 2-4pm, followed by a funeral service being held in the funeral home chapel at 4pm. A time of reception will occur in the basement of The Knox Presbyterian Church in Elora. Donations can be directed towards The Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund.
