Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the age of 48 with his family by his side.
Loving father of Bronson “Bonsai” (Remstar) and Jasmine “VIG” (Liam). Loving partner of Karinne. Beloved son of Elaine and the late Robert (2011). Dear brother of Cheryl “Cezar” Winter, Anne Winter (Derek Gilmour), the late Vicki Reinhart (2015) (Bruce), Michelle Winter (Kevin Silk) and Denise Jarvis (Richard). Predeceased by grandmother Alberta Huber (2017).
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, November 2, 2018 from noon until 1 pm. A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. At Rob’s request, casual dress only please.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Drop-In Centre or Wyndham House would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Robert W. Winter in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
